We are seeking a Landscape Architect/Designer to join our multi-disciplinary firm in West Palm Beach, FL. The ideal candidate will have a passion for creating beautiful, functional outdoor spaces and can assist the office principals during the design, permitting and construction phases.

Responsibilities

  • Design landscape plans for residential and commercial projects
  • Prepare detailed drawings, specifications, and cost estimates for landscape projects
  • Develop creative solutions to challenging design problems
  • Work with clients to determine project goals and objectives
  • Research and evaluate existing site conditions
  • Work with other design professionals to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget
  • Prepare presentations and reports for clients
  • Participate in site visits to evaluate existing conditions
  • Attend meetings with clients and other design professionals

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Landscape Architecture
  • Knowledge of local (Palm Beach) and state regulations
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, and 3D graphics
  • Knowledge of sub tropical & tropical plant materials and construction techniques
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to work under tight deadlines
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation

Civil Engineering
CIVIL ENGINEER, EIT

Primary Function
Collaborate with principal engineer and staff in the detailed phases of design engineering work for Civil projects, including utilities management and systems design including; water distribution/ wastewater / storm water storage and conveyance systems, under supervision of a Professional Engineer. The candidate must be knowledgeable of applicable engineering theory, methods and practices with the ability to apply sound engineering principles to the solution of routine technical problems.

Primary Duties

  • Performs moderate analysis and design tasks involving design calculations and sketches of plans
  • Prepares portions of project documents and edits specifications
  • Performs research and investigations
  • Reviews environmental documents
  • Participates at various meetings with city, county and other governmental and private entities
  • Performs duties on small projects or portions of larger projects at the same time
  • Assist in prioritizing and scheduling projects, determining work requirements to complete project plans and coordinates scheduling to accommodate projects already underway
  • Reviews construction site to monitor progress
  • Opportunity to develop broad knowledge and skills in a specific practice area
  • Performs other job responsibilities as assigned

Education and Experience Requirements

  • Entry Level
  • Bachelor of Science Degree in Civil, Environmental, or other related Engineering from an ABET accredited college
  • An understanding of water treatment / distribution, wastewater collection / treatment and storm water / water resources principles and state regulations is preferred
  • Proficient in AutoCad
  • Ability to research and utilize available resources, learn new concepts
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office 365- Outlook, Excel and Word, OneDrive
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Strong attention to detail, with a demonstrated capability to meet project budget and deadlines
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Strong organization skills, and work ethic
  • The initiative and ability to take on new projects and new challenges regularly
  • Candidate must be self-motivated, able to lead or assist a project team to completion of multiple projects simultaneously

Education

Draftsman

We are seeking an experienced Draftsman to join our multi-disciplinary firm. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating detailed drawings and plans for a variety of projects. The Draftsman will work closely with other team members to ensure accuracy and quality of all drawings.
